As we were getting ready to launch the world went into lockdown due to COVID. At the time I didn't really think much of it and assumed it was an overreaction to a new contagion. However, after two more months without much change I began to get concerned. After some difficult discussion with my private investor, they decided it would be wise to stop funding my project. For the next eight months I did everything I could to try and make it work on my own with dwindling funds.

Unfortunately, at the end of the year I decided to shut it all down before I had nothing left in the bank. I took some time to myself to absorb the reality that my dream was not going to come true and ever since I have been trying to sell the business and assets. After roughly eight deals falling through I decided to try a different approach by launching my own NFT collection with hopes to get a bid high enough to pass on the torch to someone new.

The idea of still having the ability to be creative while incorporating my passion for the outdoors seemed appealing to me. Despite not making it on my own, I thought it could be a great way to share my experience and company assets with those who may have been interested in starting their own clothing line. Some of you may think that it would be pointless to invest in a business that did not survive the pandemic. However, we had gained a ton of traction in the outdoor industry. We just didn't have enough funds to push through another production run.

There is a ton of potential for anyone interested and I have listed everything included in the sale, or win, depending on how you want to look at it. If you have any questions or concerns, you can reach Mac at mac@creagwear.com or click the link below under the contact tab.
