Our Goal

Unfortunately, all of our attention the past six months has been on COVID and the politics surrounding the pandemic. Now that businesses are shutting down and unemployment is high, more and more people are finding the street. As the brand owner, and having been homeless myself, this is something very personal to me. Although we can’t fix this problem alone, we thought we would see if we can’t raise some money to help.

Our goal is to raise 10K from now until the end of the year. Meaning, we will donate 10% of all sales to homeless organizations and food banks here in Colorado. If we are able to reach our goal, then that means we will be able to continue forward as a brand. One of the primary reasons CREAG exists in the first place is to give back, and we hope to have the opportunity to do more.

In The End...

In the end, no person should live without shelter or food. Without the community dining center, volunteers, and food donations I would have never survived that year. Unfortunately, there is an enormous shortage of food and too many people are suffering. Having the opportunity to contribute monetarily to a food bank would be amazing. Providing food is great, but anything fresh is perishable and our donation would give them more control over stock.

Homelessness has had some lasting effects on how I view the world. I've seen the most generous acts of kindness, but I have also seen the worst. I will never look at the world the same way. I don't want anyone to have to go through what I did. We may have a pandemic in our midst, but the truth is we have an enormous epidemic with homelessness. If our contribution gives one person a chance at a better life, we would consider that a huge success.
